The St Barnabas charity shop at Manor Parade, Durrington, celebrated 10 years of raising money for the hospice at the end of November.
The largest shop in the our chain of 13 outlets started as just one unit in the parade and has grown to a massive four units, ensuring that the hospice has a very large presence in the neighbourhood.
Each week, this busy shop welcomes 750 - 800 customers all looking for a bargain whilst supporting St Barnabas. During its 10 years of trading, the Durrington shop, which specialises in photographic equipment and furniture, has brought in an incredible £2.2 million for the hospice.
To celebrate this important milestone in the shop's history, the staff and most of the shop's 35 volunteers celebrated with a birthday cake made specially for the occasion by 83 year old Win Millard
