Join H G Scadgell Ltd , Worthing’s largest furniture store, and buy a brick in support of our new hospice

As part of our Building a Dream campaign, we are asking supporters to help us pave the way towards hospice care for the future by taking part in our 'buy a brick' appeal for the new St Barnabas. We want to create a Walk of Life - a pathway leading to the new hospice, paved with special bricks and stones engraved with uplifting messages from friends and supporters.

The Walk of Life will run along the entire length of the inner approach road to the new St Barnabas. The Walk - and all the messages it contains - will be seen by patients, families and visitors to St Barnabas for many years to come.

Everyone who has dedicated a stone will be welcome to come to St Barnabas at any time to visit the Walk, find their own message, and read those of others.

Choose your inscription
This could be your own name, your family, your group or company name. You might want to add a personal message such as 'best wishes' too. Please remember though that The Walk of Life is intended to provide a positive and uplifting welcome to our patients and visitors. Therefore, we would ask you not to request the words 'in memory of ' or lifespan dates. However, name only inscriptions will be very welcome. If you are unsure and would like advice, please call us on 01903 524100.

Confirm your message
Once we receive and accept your order form (opposite) we will send you a certificate to confirm the wording of your inscription. Please check this very carefully and let us know within 10 days if you would like to change your inscription.

Come and see it
Once the stones have been laid we will invite you in to see the new St Barnabas House, stroll along The Walk of Life and see your inscription for yourself.
