Worthing Herald recently ran a Go Green for St Barnabas appeal to help raise funds and awareness of our Building a Dream appeal for the new St Barnabas hospice currently under construction. We were delighted to receive £5791.84 from the appeal that was presented to the fundraising team at the current site.

The idea was for local people - individuals, companies, schools, clubs, groups, etc - to organise their own Go Green for St Barnabas fundraising event. It was as simple as getting everyone at work or school to wear something green for a day - a jumper, scarf or even something silly like a green wig - and to make a donation for St Barnabas. Alternatively, supporters could do something 'green' for a day eg organise some gardening or do something to save energy. Any other ideas were welcome! The wackier, the better!
