We are delighted announce the official opening of a new St Barnabas House charity shop in Cricketer's Parade, Broadwater. The shop was opened on Monday 21st June by our Mayor of Worthing, Cllr Ann Sayers and we look forward to welcoming many customers to our new shop.
The first St Barnabas shop opened in 1989 and we now have 11 across West Sussex selling second-hand furniture, clothing and bric-a-brac. Their sales are in excess of £1 million a year are a major source of income and they also act as a highly visible advertisement on the high street.
Every week, dozens of volunteers help us to run these shops as professional retail outlets. They carry out routine but important tasks such as sorting donations and serving customers. We always welcome good quality donations of clothes, books, furniture, toys and bric-a-brac. Our stock changes constantly so please visit our shops regularly for bargains of all kinds. We can arrange collections and deliveries for larger items. Please contact our Retail Office on 01903 741719 for more information.
