Day Hospice

Our spacious Day Hospice runs Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm and provides care for up to 18 patients each day.

Patients access the Day Hospice for a number of reasons. Whilst some patients receive treatments, such as blood transfusions and intravenous medication, many see it as an opportunity for social activities.

Some use the sessions to speak to our support team on hand, which includes a Chaplain and the Family Services Team, who can provide spiritual, emotional and psychological support, whilst others benefit from the complementary therapy and physiotherapy that is available.
