Motor Neurone Disease: How can we help?

End of Life Care for People with Learning Disabilities?
A day to raise awareness of end of life issues for health and social care professionals.
The day will be divided into two sections; in the morning we will consider the philosophy and principles of palliative care. In the afternoon there will be a choice of two workshops, one will begin to consider how these principles can be related to caring for people with dementia and the other workshop will begin to consider how we can care for people with learning disabilities at the end of life.
