St Barnabas has 11 shops across the Worthing, Arun, Adur and Henfield areas and we are always looking for volunteers who can spare a few hours a week to help us serve customers and sort donated stock.

We now have a brand new Hospice Shops Distribution and Donations Centre in Broadwater, Worthing and would welcome volunteers to join our team and help us with the following roles:

Stock sorter
Sorting donated stock ready for distribution to our network of 16 hospice shops in the local area. No experience needed, training will be given.

Book sorter
Sorting donated books, stock control and scanning for resale online. No experience needed, training will be given.

PAT Tester
Safety testing donated electrical items. Experience necessary

Furniture restorer / carpenter
Repairing and renovating donated items of furniture. Experience necessary.

The centre is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm but hours are flexible.
