Kate Slee, Stuart Marshall, Adam Thackery and Dan Wadey are all taking on the Pier to Pier Challenge to raise money for St Barnabas House
Staff at Morrisons in Worthing are continuing their fundraising for St Barnabas House with a special Pier to Pier Challenge this May.
Store Manager, Stuart Marshall, will be joined by Dan Wadey, Adam Thackery and Kate Slee on Sunday 20 May for the run from Brighton Pier to Worthing Pier - a distance of just over 10 miles along the seafront.
As well ask asking family, friends and colleagues to sponsor the run, staff and volunteers from St Barnabas will be collecting at the store, on Newland Street, Worthing, on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 May.
Said St Barnabas House Community Fundraising Manager, Sloane Vaughan, 'We are so grateful to everyone at Morrisons for the fantastic support that they have shown for St Barnabas. We wish Stuart, Dan, Adam and Kate the best of luck for their challenge and hope they have a great time whilst raising vital funds for the hospice.'
Morrisons support for St Barnabas is not limited to fundraising - they donated lots of Easter Eggs, which were used at an Easter Fayre to raise money and they are also donating bananas for the 2012 Night to Remember midnight walk on Saturday 16 June, which provides walkers with a much needed energy boost during their half marathon challenge.
