Singing schoolgirls delight shoppers at St Barnabas House Storrington shop

Tuesday 10 December 2019

A big thank you to Steyning Grammar schoolgirls, Daisy and Lily Borgoin, aged 11, who raised over £140 singing Christmas songs outside the Storrington shop last Saturday.

Shop manager, Jean Lawrence, said: “This is the third year the twins have sung outside the shop to raise funds.  The village gave them a very warm welcome and everyone stopped to listen as they sang a host of carols and songs to bring a festive cheer to Christmas shopping in Storrington”.

Daisy and Lily are keen fundraisers for St Barnabas House.  In June they took part in the Midnight Walk with their mum, Jane Cooper.  They were the youngest walkers to complete the 13-mile route and raised over £600.

The Storrington shop is at Old Mill Square, Storrington RH20 4NQ (01903 743773) and has a great range of Christmas gifts and stocking fillers.  Pop in and have a browse.
