Counselling and emotional support continues by phone

Thursday 21 May 2020

Counselling team telephone supportAlthough our counselling team and volunteers aren’t currently able to meet with people face to face, they are providing telephone counselling and emotional support for St Barnabas House patients and their family and friends, as well as bereavement counselling and support to those whose loved one has died under our care.

People can talk about anything that is affecting them: their concerns and worries, as well as feelings of loss and sadness when someone has died.

Over 120 patients and relatives are receiving telephone counselling and emotional support at the moment. The Family Services team are always happy to speak with  anyone who would like to know more about the support available. You can contact them on 01903 706341 or familyservices@stbh.org.uk.
