Sunflower Memories postponed until August 2020

Friday 22 May 2020

Thank you to everyone who has already generously supported this year’s Sunflower Memories Appeal in response to the newsletter.

Regretfully, this year’s Sunflower Memories has been postponed until August due to the coronavirus pandemic. The usual gathering at the hospice will be replaced with a virtual dedication of sunflowers on Friday 21 August. We will do our very best to make sure the virtual event feels just as special.

Sunflower Memories

A recording will be available for you to watch on the St Barnabas House website and social media pages, as well as sent out by email should we have your email address. We hope that the online event will enable everyone to take part, including those that are still shielding or self-isolating.

It will still be possible to have a sunflower dedicated to your loved one and make a donation, either by post or online from the end of June. More details will be available nearer the time.

The sunflowers will be on display during the month of August. However, for your own wellbeing and to protect our patients, families and staff, we ask that you do not visit the hospice to view your sunflowers.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.

If you have any questions or would like to check that we have your email address, please contact James Millen on 01903 706329 or email james.millen@stbh.org.uk
