Can you help shape an important research project?

Thursday 24 September 2020

St Barnabas House has been approached to take part in shaping an important piece of research being carried out by the University of Lancaster.

The University team are seeking the views of people who received counselling support from the Family Services Team at St Barnabas in the in the last two years, whilst you or your loved one received care from the medical team at St Barnabas. As part of that support, you were asked a set of questions (known as the Attitude to Health Change scale or AHC for short) about how you were feeling about your own health or the health of your loved one.

The University of Lancaster is planning a research study to find out more about the experience and views of those who have had first-hand experience of responding to these questions. This is an opportunity for you to help shape the design of the research by being actively involved as an advisor.

Find out more about the research project and what it would involve.

If you would like to take part or have any questions about the research project, please contact Fiona Pope, St Barnabas House Counsellor, email: Fiona.Pope@stbh.org.uk or telephone: 07775 941081.
