On Monday 1 February, ITV Meridian visited St Barnabas to speak to some of our team about nursing during the pandemic. They spoke to our Interim Director of Clinical Services, Ellie Hayter and Director of Fundraising, Becki Jupp; as well as a patient who explained how the hospice has changed her outlook on life.
We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped during the filming. The video report was aired on ITV Meridian’s South East programme on Tuesday 2 February and Meridian South on Wednesday 3 February.
“The last few months have been challenging for everyone, but throughout these times, the hospice have been working hard to ensure the continued wellbeing of everyone they care for.”
The ITV report is also available to watch on the ITV website, and there is more information about how it has been nursing during COVID-19 here.
