Our Board of Trustees are all volunteers. They are responsible for the governance of the charity, overseeing and guiding the work of the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team.
Lisa Kenna joins the Board of Trustees from her role as Founder and Managing Director of Brighton-based Pegasus, one of the UK’s leading integrated healthcare communications consultancies. Lisa, who set up the business in 1992, developed an initial niche in providing PR to companies in the natural healthcare field and grew the business over the next 25 years until it reached its current size with more than 120 staff.
As it grew, the consultancy then started to diversify and now represents clients ranging from global pharmaceutical companies, public sector healthcare organisations, pharmacy and retailers, animal health brands, healthy beauty products and food groups. Lisa’s passion for the business was in staff development, motivation and mentoring and Pegasus was regularly recognised in surveys as one of the best places to work.
In 2016, Lisa sold the business to UDG Healthcare plc and she worked for a year as Chairman whilst the business was transitioned.
Lisa first became aware of the work of St Barnabas House when her friend passed away there in 2012. St Barnabas became Pegasus’ chosen charity and staff have been holding regular events to raise funds ever since.
Lisa lives in Findon with her husband and two teenage daughters and is currently doing voluntary work, training to be a counsellor and works with Pets as Therapy with her dog Nala.
