Thank you to everyone who has signed up and donated to St Barnabas House.

Christmas tree recycling 2021

How does it work?

Biffa will be collecting trees on 11 January 2025.

You'll just need to leave your tree outside your house the day before in an easily accessible place near your property.

£5

Your donation could buy a special story book to help children faced with losing a parent or grandparent talk about bereavement

£10

Your donation is enough to purchase new art supplies, giving patients the chance to express themselves with the help of our Artist-in-Residence.

£20

Your donation could give a patient staying at the hospice an hour of care, comfort, and reassurance from a Healthcare Assistant.

An easy and hassle-free way to dispose of your Christmas tree

If you live between any village between Ferring and the river Arun, Findon village or Arundel, you can recycle your Christmas Tree while supporting local hospice care! With thanks to our supporters, Biffa, this year you’ll be able to get your tree safely collected from your home for a donation to the hospice.

We’re suggesting a small donation of £5, £10 or £20 per tree. Whatever you can give goes a long way, and helps us support local people in need of hospice care.

Who can have their tree collected?

In order to be able to sign up you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • YOU MUST LIVE IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS: Findon Village, Clapham, Ferring, Kingston Gorse, East Preston, Angmering, Rustington or Littlehampton. Offer now extended to Arundel too!
  • You must pay Council Tax to Arun District Council.
  • You’re disposing of a real tree (artificial trees will not be collected)

Biffa are a national waste disposal company with over 100 years of experience. They’re the UK’s number 1 choice for business waste management, and are committed to making innovative, sustainable choices.
