Ways to give

Make a Will month

Every October, we team up with local solicitors, who offer to write simple Wills for a donation of £110 (single) or £160 (joint). Find out how you can take part in 2022 below.

What is Make a Will month?

Make a Will month occurs every October. It is your chance to make or update your Will with a local solicitor and in return, they generously donate the fee to us.

There is no obligation to include a gift to us when taking part. But if you do, you’ll help local people receive warm-hearted care at the end of their lives.

What’s covered in Make a Will month?

The scheme only covers simple Wills, where beneficiaries are limited and there are no trusts involved. Speak to the solicitor when booking if you’re unsure whether the type of will you require is covered and they’ll be able to advise.

How do I make an appointment?

We work with local solicitors on Make a Will month. And nearer the time, we will update this page with all the details of the solicitors taking part. You can contact them directly quoting ‘Make a Will month’. You’ll need to pay at your first appointment, which must be in October to qualify.

If you would like to be reminded about our Make a Will month nearer the time, please leave your details below.

How to leave a gift in your Will

Leaving a charitable gift in your Will to St Barnabas House not only provides personal comfort, it also helps support everything we do.
