Frequently asked questions

Setting up an online tribute is a great way to remember someone you’ve lost in an accessible and permeant way. It’s easy to share with family and friends – no matter where they are in the world – and you can continue to add memories and photos for as long as you’d like.

You can also add in information for funeral and memorial services, or set up donations to your chosen charities in their name. Your friends and family can add in memories and images to help them remember your loved one. There’s also the option to make the tribute completely private so that only people you share it with are able to view it.

  1. Put in the details of the person you’re remembering. Start with their name, and press the ‘Next’ button. You’ll then be asked for your email address
  2. Open the email that’ll be sent to you (don’t forget to check your Spam and Junk folders). Follow the link in the email – you’ll be asked to create a password which you’ll need to keep safe so you can log back in in the future.
  3. You’ll then put in a few details and add a photograph – if you’d like to.
  4. Now you get to make the tribute unique: Select your options under ‘Settings’. Here’s some things to consider:
    1. Decide if you want your Tribute to be public or private. Public means that it can be searched for and anyone can add to it. Private means it is only accessible to those you invite to view your tribute.
    2. Your tribute will automatically be set up as fundraising for St Barnabas House, but you can add in another charity if you’d like to, all fundraising will be split between the two charities.
    3. You can add in stories, music and images under ‘Content’
  5. Once your Tribute is active you can log back in and make any future changes, such as adjusting the appearance or adding in new memories.
  6. Share the page with your friends and family – or on Social Media. They’ll also be able to add thoughts, music, video, pictures and even light a candle in memory of your loved one.

From our supporters

It is so wonderful having a Tribute Page to keep my Dad’s memory alive, and best of all to raise money for St Barnabas who were so wonderful to him while he was alive.
