If you can’t take part on 25 June then no problem, just sign up and do it in your own time. From Saturday 18 June walk anywhere at any time and raise money for your local hospice. Every additional pound you raise makes a big difference.

Post a pic on social media in your Sunrise to Remember event t-shirt, and we’ll send you an exclusive medal and certificate. Even completing the walk virtually brings you a huge sense of pride as every pound you raise makes a big difference.

All you need to do is choose 10 or 20km and get it done in your own time. If you can’t make the live event, then make sure you’re part of our Facebook event page where you can share your photos and be part of the camaraderie with others who couldn’t make the live event.

The live and in person event will be held on 25 June starting from Worthing Leisure centre on a safe and marshalled route through Worthing and surrounding areas. Starting at 4.15am, sunrise will be at 4.44am.

What to expect:

  • 100s of walkers setting off for a trek around the varied terrain and scenery of Worthing.
  • The route is lead by a lead walker – and there’ll be trained volunteers keeping everyone safe!
  • Take your time getting round, or challenge yourself to get a personal best.
  • They’ll also be a memory tree on the route where you can make a personal dedication to someone you’ve lost.
  • Everyone will meet at the finish line for some fun and bucks fizz!

Register with confidence with our COVID-19 Promise.

The safety of all our walkers, volunteers, staff, and suppliers is always paramount. There will be an event COVID-19 risk assessment carried out for this event and additional measures that are required will be put in place to keep everyone safe. There will be hand sanitising stations throughout. You are free to wear a mask if you so wish but it is not compulsory.

Please do not attend the Sunrise to Remember if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or you or a member of your household has tested positive in the last 7 days. If you are in any doubt please test before arrival.

Why take on a charity walk?

The walk was challenging but there is such a great atmosphere, and you just forget that and keep on walking. I felt a personal achievement, but it was shared with so many other people crossing the finish line.

Your sponsorship

There’s no minimum sponsorship for Sunrise to Remember and the £25 ticket cost only covers the cost of the event. Every pound you raise over your registration fee helps families who need your support now and in the future. Thank you for being amazing and raising money for such a worthy cause.
