The Worthing 10k has been postponed until Sunday 10 October! Perfect for runners of all abilities, you can still join Team St Barnabas in one of the largest, friendliest, and most seafront scenic running events in the south east.
Attracting 2,500 elite runners, club runners, first time runners and fun runners, the Worthing 10k is perfect – whatever your running ability.
Starting and finishing along Worthing’s picturesque promenade, the Worthing 10k is a fast, flat, road run taking you through a scenic coastal route all the way to the gorgeous Goring Gap and back.
The organisers will have more details about their COVID safety measures as the event gets closer.
St Barnabas Tree House is delighted to be an official charity partner again for the Worthing 10k in 2021…meaning we can offer you free entry with a charity place, with only a minimum sponsorship of £100!
All your have to do is enter the code teambarnabas2021 when asked, and you’re entry fee will be reduced to zero.
If you have your own place, you can still join Team St Barnabas and use your Worthing 10k place to make a real difference to the lives of children with life limiting conditions across Sussex. Just get in touch.
Your support means adults with terminal illnesses and their loved ones can live life as fully as possible, for the time they have left together.
For some, this might mean regular day visits to the hospice for social activities, physiotherapy, complementary therapy, exercise classes, spiritual support or counselling.
Others might need to stay overnight for help managing complex physical symptoms, with a third of patients returning home more comfortable and relaxed after a short stay.
There may be a 10k task ahead, but were here with you every step of the way, for your fundraising and training journey!

Donations up to £500: could give bereaved relatives the chance to get therapeutic support at a “Time to Remember” group
Donations over £500: could pay for a patient to spend their last day at the hospice, ensuring they are as comfortable as possible and loved ones have the chance to say goodbye.
