There’s so many ways you can get involved and support St Barnabas House.

Donating and Gift Aid

The money you raise will help to provide vital care for people in your local community. There are various different ways you can pay in the money you’ve raised.

How to pay in the money you raise

Cheque

Please make cheques payable to St Barnabas House and send them to the Fundraising Team at St Barnabas House.

Bank transfer

If you’d prefer to pay by bank transfer, please use these details:

  • Account name: St Barnabas Hospices (Sussex) Ltd
  • Sort code: 60-03-38
  • Account number: 70574790

Bank transfers should be referenced with your name prefixed with STB so we know it’s from you and for St Barnabas House.

Over the phone

Please contact the Fundraising Team on 01903 254777 and we can take your payment over the phone by debit or credit card.

In person

Please don’t send cash in the post. We don’t want your hard-earned funds going missing! You’re welcome to visit the hospice if you’d prefer to drop the money off in person.

Pay in event money

Gift Aid

If you’re a UK tax payer, you can increase the value of your donations to St Barnabas House at no extra cost! Read more about how to do that here.

Please download our sponsor form to find out how you ask your supporters to add Gift Aid to their donation. If you are using JustGiving, the website gives them the option to add Gift Aid.

There are some payments which won’t qualify for Gift Aid. You can read more about what Gift Aid cannot be claimed for on the government website.

Match funding

Your employer may be able to match or partially match any funds you raise for the hospice, so be sure to check with them.

If any of your friends or family have helped with your fundraising and work for a company that offers match funding, they can apply for it too! We can provide you with any confirmation you need to do this.

Some companies even offer this benefit to retired staff members as well, so do have a look into it. After all, it’s an easy way to boost your fundraising total!

Cheque presentations

We always love meeting our supporters and to thank you for all your hard work!

If you’d like to pop into the hospice to hand in your donation, we’d be more than happy to take a photo with our big cheque or branded heart which we can edit your fundraising total onto.

If you’re a business, school or group, we could visit you and do a short talk about how your fundraising will help the hospice to care for people in your local community.
