There’s so many ways you can get involved and support St Barnabas House.

Schools and colleges fundraising

If you’re a school, college, sixth form or nursery, you can get involved in raising charitable donations for hospice care services at St Barnabas House.

Whether you’re a parent, pupil, teacher or simply have a connection with a school or college, why not use this educational environment to support St Barnabas House?

Not only will you help us to fund our work, but you will also help us to raise awareness of our charity in your local community.

There are all sorts of ways in which you could fundraise for St Barnabas House – whether it’s through existing events such as a school play, concerts and summer fêtes, or through new fundraising events and activities you might want to invent, we are here to help.

Why not think about doing something your pupils will enjoy or an activity that will help your school achieve its academic goals. You can organise anything from a non-uniform day to a cake sale.

Your school could take part in the £50 Challenge. Test your students’ fundraising and entrepreneurial skills by challenging them to see how much money they can raise. Find out more about the £50 Challenge here.

Below are just a few of our successful school fundraisers:

  • Angmering School Sixth Formers held a quiz and raised £278
  • Students from Worthing High School raised £953 from a onesie cycle
  • Ferring CE Primary School raised £587.01 from Money Matters Week
  • Holmbush Primary Academy raised £432.58 by taking part in Wear It Festive

If you are interested in organising a fundraising event through your school or college, please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you and find out how we can help. Call 01903 254777 or email fundraising@stbh.org.uk
