St Barnabas House depends on over 1,000 volunteers who help in the hospice, in our charity shops and at our fundraising events

St Barnabas House has charity shops across the Worthing, Arun, Adur and Henfield areas. We are looking for volunteers to join our team and help us with the following roles…

If you are a savvy salesperson or have a passion for fashion, why not join our shop teams? A wide and varied range of roles are on offer to help run the shop including customer service, sorting and prepping donated stock, operating the till and visual merchandising. Full training given.
Calling all bookworms, film fans, budding DJs and knowledgeable collectors! We need your expertise! Come and help us sort and value specialist items, collectibles, books and media. This role is available in both our shops and the retail distribution centre.
Our shops trade 9am to 5pm* (some trade from 10am to 4pm on Sunday) and have many shifts available:
8.45am-12.45pm* (Monday to Saturday)
10am-2pm (Monday to Sunday)
1.15pm-5.15pm* (Monday to Saturday)
12.15pm-4.15pm (Sundays)
*some shops trade 9.30am to 5.30pm and in these shops the shifts are half an hour later.
We also need volunteers to help at our Retail Distribution Centre
Sorting donated stock ready for distribution to our network of hospice shops in the local area. No experience needed, training will be given. (Some heavy lifting may be required)
