Volunteer Shop Assistant: Lyons Farm

Our brand new shop at Lyons Farm is due to open on 12th April.

 

Due to COVID 19 the majority of our hospice-based volunteering roles are currently suspended. However we are now pleased to be able to reopen our doors for those wishing to apply to volunteer in one of our charity shops. Please read our latest updates here.

BooksIf you are passionate about helping to make a difference through giving your time, enjoy interacting with customers and can identify good quality clothes and items, then why not volunteer at our brand new charity shop at Lyons Farm?

The role will involve:

  • Serving customers and using the computerised till to take payments for purchases
  • Sorting donated stock, clothing and bric-a-brac
  • Recording donor details for gift-aid
  • Using a steaming appliance on donated clothes
  • Assisting the shop manager with any other task to keep the shop running efficiently

Our shop is due to open on Monday 12 April (Monday to Saturday 9am-6pm & Sunday 10am-4pm) and there will be various shifts available.

The shop is located at Unit 1, Lyons Farm Retail Park, Worthing, BN14 9LA.
