Are you interested in volunteering for Sunrise to Remember? Find out all the ways you can get involved…
We know that you, our dedicated Night to Remember volunteers, will be wondering how you can still support the event that you love. Well don’t worry, we still have plenty of opportunities for you to get involved and make Sunrise to Remember extra special!
Be a virtual marshal and send video clips of you and your household, with messages of support, cheering, raising a toast or clapping. We would love you to have fun with this and get creative! Filming not your forte? No need to worry – we will take the stress out of this and come to you and film from a social distance!
If you would rather have your picture taken – perfect. You could dress up, create a marshal point on your driveway, hold up a good luck or well-done sign. How about creating a mile marker to hold up that we could share with our walkers when they reach a certain point? Again, the photo maybe just of you but if others in your household would like to get involved, we would love to have them!
Write a message to the walkers and support them through the power of the written word! You have your reasons for supporting St B’s and we would love to hear them and share them.
Can you provide a heart to show support? The heart is a symbol of hope and love. We plan to give each walker and volunteer a heart to remember their loved ones and to recognise that although we may be apart, we are together in supporting our local hospice. We need crafty volunteers to make hearts for us and spread the love. They can be made of fabric, paper, wood, clay, knitted or woven. If you are crafty and want to be involved, pop us a call and we can discuss the details.
If you would like to be involved in Sunrise to Remember, please let us know by calling 01903 706354 or emailing the team at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to welcoming you to the team.
