Are you sociable, self-motivated and enthusiastic and ready for a new challenge? The Lead Volunteer is ideal if you can spare some time on a more regular basis. Training is required as we want you to be a confident ambassador for the charity.
Each year we are asked to support a wide range of interesting events and challenges to raise money for St Barnabas House. In fact, there were many different events last year including fundraising balls, fayres and other challenge events.
As a lead volunteer you will be supporting our fundraising teams and events team by attending community and organised events on our behalf.
This role is extremely flexible and can fit around a busy life – we’ll send you our list of events and you can commit to as many as you like but ideally a minimum of three events per year.
To apply for this role, please download our application form on this page and return to firstname.lastname@example.org. The subject box of your email should include the volunteer opportunity title.
Please also complete and return the Equal Opportunities monitoring form. St Barnabas Hospices is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment and volunteering, enabling it to deliver the best possible healthcare and to avoid unlawful discrimination in employment, volunteering or to our customers. Completion of any part of this form is voluntary and all information will be treated in confidence and will not be seen by line management responsible for the appointment.
