Educational courses

Bereavement, loss and change

for adults during and after COVID-19

About the course

This half study day can be used as a refresher for the principles of supporting bereaved adults or to gain/improve a knowledge base. The focus will be on ensuring that following the death of someone close to them people will be supported during the bereavement process. There will be an emphasis on support immediately following the person’s death and identification of the need for future support.

It is anticipated that group discussions will feature as part of this short course, linking theory to practice with relevant signposting.
This session also includes bereavement, loss and change issues not associated with COVID-19.
