About the course

Utilising technology enhanced simulation we aim to provide a learning environment to support knowledge and understanding, as well as skill application related to recognising dying.

Learning outcomes:

To recognise the signs that someone is approaching the last days of life
To consider the potential barriers to recognising dying
To identify reversible causes to promote effective end of life care
To define legal requirements and current guidelines to support care at the end of life
Introduction

Who should attend?

Any Registered Nurse or allied health/social care professional supporting dying service users. If you are a Registered Nurse, it is recommended you also attend Verification of Expected Adult Death.
