Bank Community Nurse Specialists in Palliative Care

Hours: Bank - working as required
Salary: £37,430 - £41,310 depending on experience, pro rata

St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care, Day Hospice and community care. We currently have the following vacancies:

  • Are you passionate about palliative care?
  • Do you have a comprehensive knowledge of pain and symptom control?
  • Do you possess a high level of communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team?

As a Bank Nurse Specialist you will be working as part of the Community Palliative Care Team, providing specialist nursing advice and support to patients, families and health-care professionals within the community setting.

Applications are welcomed from nurses who have previously held a CNS post (or equivalent, preferably qualified at Masters Level) within the palliative care environment. You should hold a relevant degree, or post Registration qualification in Palliative Care/Oncology

Advanced physical assessment and/or Non-Medical Prescribing qualifications desirable

NHS pension transferable or enrolment to our pension scheme.
