St Barnabas Hospices is a pioneering charity delivering specialist care, education and research & innovation, encompassing two hospices – St Barnabas House and Chestnut Tree House.
Our work at St Barnabas House is focused on providing specialist, palliative care for adults with life-shortening illnesses. Chestnut Tree House offers care to children and young people with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions as well as supporting their families.
We have a wide geographic footprint, working throughout East Sussex, West Sussex and South East Hampshire. In the last year we cared for 1,965 adult patients and 310 children and young people.
The new Chief Executive will have the opportunity to shape and lead the future of hospice care in Sussex by developing business plans fit for purpose in a rapidly changing healthcare economy.
