Clinical Operations Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours – part-time also considered
Salary: FTE £53,010 - £64,560 p.a. depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role

St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care and community living well services.

 

This is an exciting time to join us at St Barnabas Hospice as we continue to work within the integrated care system locally and grow our specialist palliative care services to support more people at end of life across 7 days a week. Above everything else, our service is patient centred.

We are seeking highly motivated Registered clinical professional with significant clinical service development, management, knowledge and experience at Band 8a or above. We seek professionals with a demonstrable flexible and agile approach alongside confident decision-making skills to provide additional operational resilience over the winter period.  Applications are welcome from experienced professionals seeking / with experience or an interest in specialist palliative care.

This role is offered as a Fixed Term / Secondment contract for 6 months; with immediate start

The delivery of experienced management and service leadership advice in conjunction with professional support to the St Barnabas Clinical Operational team. This post manages the operational function for adult clinical services, including performance, service development and improvement, and the delivery of contractual targets

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Co-ordination of the St Barnabas Clinical Operations Manager business
  • Delivery of service improvement and Service development
  • Efficiency improvement across adult clinical services
  • Identifying and resolving emergent
  • Planning and
  • Day to day management including, staffing, resources and financial management
  • Governance and compliance
