Clinical Services Administrator

Hours

37.5 hours per week (flexible, weekends may be included)

Salary

£23,570 – £24,900 p.a depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role

About the role

Do you have exceptional administration, communication and organisational skills?

We are looking for a highly organised individual to join our friendly and supportive administration team.

The role involves:

  • Maintaining accurate and up to date electronic patient records in a secure and confidential manner liaising with the multi-professional team.
  • Processing records for admitted, discharged and deceased In-Patient Unit patients.
  • Managing the flow of clinical and non-clinical IPU documentation ensuring where required that the documentation is accurately and promptly recorded.
  • Being a point of contact for patients, family, healthcare professionals and visitors to the IPU, ensuring all enquires and medical matters are appropriately and efficiently directed.
  • Responsibility for making intended bookings for In-Patient Unit Respite stays.
  • Occasional support for Hospice at Home administration may be needed to cover periods of annual leave and sickness.
