Consultant in Palliative Medicine

6-10 PAs per week (negotiable)

Salary

FTE £84,559 – £114,003 plus on call supplement

About the role

You will join the current consultant team and assist with provision of consultant medical support at St. Barnabas House, rotating between community and inpatient focused roles, with opportunities for ongoing professional development. We are a research-active hospice, have an extensive undergraduate and postgraduate education programme and provide training for IMT and STR doctors. There is a second on call commitment as part of a shared consultant rota covering palliative care services in the local area (currently 1 in 6).

Applicants must be fully registered and licensed with the GMC and on the specialist register for Palliative Medicine or have a date of completion within 6 months of interview.
