Events Assistant and Administrator

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £18,880 - £19,850 p.a. depending on depth and variety of experience
Closing date: Friday 31 January

Based at our Eastbourne office, Sovereign Harbour

St Barnabas Hospices offers specialist palliative care through two hospices: St Barnabas House adult hospice in Worthing and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice near Arundel in Sussex.

As Events Assistant and Administrator you will have a role at the heart of the charities and will deliver excellent donor care, putting our supporters at the heart of everything we do. Working with our Challenge Fundraiser on our large and varied running programme and Skydives; tasks will involve administrative support; day-to-day liaison with our running supporters, promoting our charities and fundraising activity; marketing; database administration; event support and volunteer management.

The role is based at our Eastbourne office in Sovereign Harbour, however you will also be required to travel within the Sussex area and visit our office in Worthing West Sussex.

The role requires some flexibility to work evenings and weekends and you must have a full clean driving licence.

An enhanced DBS will be sought, if you are successful in this role.
