St Barnabas Hospices offers specialist palliative care through two hospices: St Barnabas House adult hospice in Worthing and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice near Arundel in Sussex.
Our charity has grown over the years and so the need for IT has also grown, so we are looking to expand our IT team to support the needs of the business.
We are looking for an individual looking to start/enhance their career in IT. This is an Apprenticeship, giving 20% off the job training. As the Healthcare Infrastructure Technician, you will be working within a small IT department with the Head of IT, IT Operations Assistant and outsourced Field Engineer. The successful candidate will support all areas of the charity including clinical staff, fundraisers, administration, retail, HR and Finance.
You will provide technically focused administrative and IT support for St Barnabas Hospices, in order to support effective service delivery to the organisation. You will have responsibility as the dedicated IT resource for the support of Project ECHO, a lifelong medical learning and collaborative practice.
A full driving licence and own transport is essential for this post, as you will be required to work across all sites of the organisation.
