HR Advisor

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: £24,330 - £26,960 p.a depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role

St Barnabas Hospices offers specialist palliative care through two hospices: St Barnabas House adult hospice in Worthing and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice near Arundel in Sussex.

You will be joining our HR team who work proactively to support the organisation, predominantly across two sites (St Barnabas House and Chestnut Tree House) and the retail side of the organisation. It will be your role to provide advice and guidance to line managers and staff members, on a variety of HR-related queries. Ultimately, you will ensure our HR department nurtures a healthy work environment and contributes to achieving our business goals.

As a CIPD qualified HR professional, you will demonstrate up to date employment law knowledge and experience dealing with various HR queries throughout the organisation.

As a person, you will be resilient and autonomous, experience of having worked in a charity or clinical environment is desirable but not essential.
