Locum Consultant in Palliative Medicine

About the role

This is a 6-month Fixed Term contract with flexibility and the possibility of a substantive post.  

You will assist with the provision of consultant medical support at St Barnabas House, rotating between community and In-Patient focused roles. The role offers opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Your skills and experience

Applicants must be fully registered and licensed with the GMC and on the specialist register for Palliative Medicine, or due to complete within 6 months of interview.

About us

We provide specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas. Our range of services are provided at the hospice and in the community.

We are a research-active hospice with an extensive undergraduate and postgraduate education programme. Additionally, we provide training for IMT and STR doctors. We have a second on-call commitment as part of a shared consultant rota, covering palliative care services in the local area.
