Lottery Marketing Officer

Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Salary: £12,408 - £13,056 p.a. depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role (F.T.E. £20,680 - £21,760)

St Barnabas Hospices offers specialist palliative care through two hospices: St Barnabas House adult hospice in Worthing and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice near Arundel in Sussex.

The charity operates one of the largest hospice lotteries in the country with over 40,000 weekly players.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Lottery Team as we have ambitious plans to grow our Lottery and raise even more vital funds – in excess of £1m – to provide hospice care for adults and children in our community.

You will be required to organise the production and printing of marketing materials, including some in-house design projects, along with helping to support the Lottery Team to promote and market the Lottery, recruit new members and deliver communications, advertising and PR.

We are looking for:

  • Experience in a marketing environment, managing a busy workload and multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication, writing and project management skills.
  • The ability to manage print and production.
  • A ‘can-do’ approach and a pro-active team player.
  • Design and photography skills

A driving licence and access to a car is essential for this post.
