Marketing Manager

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: £31,100 – £33,530 p.a. depending on experience

St Barnabas Hospices offers specialist palliative care through two hospices: St Barnabas House adults’ hospice in Worthing and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice near Arundel in Sussex.

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Digital, this role will be responsible for providing effective management and delivery of high quality and integrated communications and marketing that supports the hospices.

You will be working with fundraisers, retail and care teams to deliver campaigns that reach all target audiences – patients, families and carers, healthcare professionals, staff, volunteers, media and the local community, including potential new supporters. You will also be managing a creative team, ensuring that all content, copy and materials are on brand, appropriate for the audience and reflect the hospices’ values.

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in Marketing and Communications, with a track record of proven delivery. You will need to demonstrate creative and analytical skills, experience in leading a diverse team, and the ability to manage multiple projects. In return you will be working in an environment that will provide you autonomy and space to shape your role and activities.

The successful applicant can opt to be based in East or West Sussex, but will need to be flexible to travel between sites occasionally.
