Registered Nurse – Hospice at Home

Hours

37.5 hours per week / part time / bank hours will be considered.

Salary

F.T.E. £31,360- 35,790 p.a. (pro rata – part-time) (depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role)

Closing date: Sunday 28 November

About the role

We are an innovative team who are passionate about providing end of life care to people in the community.

It is an exciting time to join us, as we move to a 24hr service and strive to offer choice to those with very complex needs to be able to die at home if that is their wish.

The role involves:

  • Working closely with our various professionals to support the physical and psychological needs of patients nearing end of life at home.
  • Assessing and monitoring changes in patients
  • Administering medication
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with our patients, their families, and various professionals
  • Risk Assessments
  • Excellent organisational skills

Experience of working with patients at end of life in the community would be desirable.

A full driving licence is essential for the role.
