Registered Nurse – Hospice at Home


37.5 hours per week (part-time hours would be considered)


£32,620 – £37,230 p.a. Depending on depth and variety of experience (pro rata for part-time)

About the role

We’re an innovative team who are passionate about providing end of life care to people in the community. It is an exciting time to join us, as we provide a 24 hour service and strive to offer choice to those with very complex needs to be able to die at home if that is their wish.

We’re looking for a Registered Nurse who is adaptable, caring and preferably with experience of palliative care.

There is opportunity to develop and rotate to our Community Palliative Care team, Living Well Services, and Roving Night service.

The role involves:

  • Working closely with our various professionals to support the physical and psychological needs of patients nearing end of life at home.
  • Assessing and monitoring changes in patients
  • Administering medication
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with our patients, their families, and various professionals
  • Risk Assessments
  • Excellent organisational skills

Experience of working with patients at end of life in the community would be desirable. A full driving license is essential for the role.
