Registered Nurse

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £30,290 - £33,460 pa (depending on depth and variety of experience)

St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care, day hospice and community care.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work within our Community Palliative Care Team in support of our Clinical Nurse Specialist.

You will work to support a team of specialist nurses, visiting patients in their own homes and undertaking follow up assessments on the telephone or face to face, to provide high quality care that meets the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families and carers.

If you want to make a difference to the people you care for, can focus on meeting people’s individual needs, enjoy working in a close knit team and like to take satisfaction in the care you give as a nurse, this job could be for you.

There may also be the opportunity to progress to a CNS development role after 12 months in post.

A full clean licence and access to a car are essential for this role and experience of working in the community would be desirable.
