Retail Shop Manager – Worthing

Charity Shop with Wedding Boutique, Worthing (Rowlands Road)

37.5 hours per week (5 days out of 7, Monday-Sunday, Inc Bank Holidays)

Starting salary of £19,640 pa plus performance related bonuses

We are looking for a highly organised, sales driven manager who would love to lead our team within St Barnabas’s busy charity shop in Rowlands Road, Worthing, which incorporates a unique wedding boutique.

Responsibilities include: Delivering excellent customer service; managing a team of staff and volunteers; stock control; visual merchandising; liaison with the Distribution Centre for stock. Co-ordinating the wedding boutique appointments and provide sensitive assistance for customers to make their purchase. Actively promoting the wedding offer at external events and partnerships. Use the EPOS system; daily cash handling and banking; ensuring the staff, volunteers, the shop and the site are safe and secure.

Experience in retail, sales or a similar fast-moving customer orientated environment is vital. Experience of working within the wedding retail environment is highly desirable.
