Specialist Doctor in Palliative Care


6-10 PAs per week (negotiable)


FTE £80,693 – £91,584 as per national specialist grade pay, plus on call supplement

About the role

You’ll join the current consultant team and assist with provision of consultant medical support at St. Barnabas House, rotating between community and inpatient focused roles, with opportunities for ongoing professional development. We are a research-active hospice, have an extensive undergraduate and postgraduate education programme and provide training for IMT and STR doctors. There is a second on call commitment as part of a shared senior doctor rota covering palliative care services in the local area (currently 1 in 6).

Applicants must be fully registered and licensed with the GMC and have 12 years post graduate experience with 6 years working in palliative medicine or an allied specialty.
