Staff Nurse – Day Hospice

Hours: Full and Part-time available
Salary: F.T.E £25,720 - £31,050 p.a. depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role
Closing date: Monday 17 February

St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care, day hospice and community care.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse within our Day Hospice Unit working as part of a highly supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic about the role and philosophy of the day hospice and will need to demonstrate good assessment and symptom control knowledge have excellent communication skills and a willingness to further develop clinical skills.

Working as part of a committed and creative team, which offers innovative therapeutic interventions and support to people with specialist palliative end of life care needs.

The day hospice team works in collaboration with other clinical professionals and volunteers across all areas of the service; inpatient, outpatient and community. This is an opportunity for you to develop personally and professionally.

If you are enthusiastic registered nurse with at least 5 years post registration experience then this could be the role for you.

An enhanced DBS will be sought, if you are successful in this role.
