Team Leader – Hospice at Home

Hours

37.5 hours per week (part time also considered)

Salary

£41,700 – £46,390 (depending on depth and variety of experience)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic nurse to work as Team Leader, in our

Hospice at Home Team.  Working as part of the Senior Nurse Team, you will be an experienced Registered Nurse, with at least four years’ post registration experience, knowledgeable in the delivery of compassionate end of life care and committed to maintaining high standards of individualised care.

You will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and experience in working across a wider multi-disciplinary team.
  • To be an organised self-motivated individual, with strong clinical and leadership skills
  • Experience of leading a team of nurses and healthcare assistants.
  • 2 years knowledge and experience of palliative care and/or oncology and evidence of further education in this area.
  • Experience of working with patients at end of life in the community.

A full driving licence is essential for the role.
