St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care and community living well services.
This is an exciting time to join us at St Barnabas Hospice as we grow our Allied Health Professional Team. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a progressive, dynamic multidisciplinary team continuing to deliver outstanding palliative care to people in our community.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Allied Health Professional Therapy technician to provide support to the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy service to inpatients, outpatients, Living Well patients and community-based patients under the care of St Barnabas House Hospice.
Following the assessment by the Senior Therapists, the emphasis is to provide on-going intervention based on the written care plan and patient-centred needs. The core function of the role will be to enable patients to maintain or improve their independence and quality of life through adopting a holistic approach to care which may or may not involve direct supervision. The post holder will be required to liaise with all service providers involved with the patient’s care as required.
