Our care

About our care

We have been providing care for over 50 years to the local area, delivering the highest standard of palliative care to our patients. Find out about our care services.

We’re here to support you and your loved ones

We understand how difficult it is facing a life-limiting illness and want you to know that we’re here for you.

Our staff have been trained to care, listen and provide support for patients and families. All our care is free and is provided in your home, in our Living Well programmes or In-Patient Unit. The majority of hospice care is delivered in the comfort of your own home.

All our care is provided free of charge. We are an independent charity, and all our funding comes from generous donations and a small percentage of government grants.

We couldn’t exist without the extraordinary kindness of our supporters. Whether you fundraise, donate, volunteer, visit a shop, play the lottery or leave a gift in your will – it all makes a massive difference.

You’ll need a referral from a healthcare professional, such as your GP, district nurse, community nurse or hospital team. Find out more on our How to access care page.

Our services are available to any adult who lives in our catchment area (Worthing, Lancing, Shoreham, Littlehampton, Henfield, Steyning, Partridge Green and Storrington).

We provide care for those at the end of life who need Palliative care. And also people who have other life-limiting conditions that need help with pain management or rehabilitation, for instance.
