There’s so many ways you can get involved and support St Barnabas House.

Living Well

Our new Living Well Service supports patient and their carers to manage the challenges of living with end of life and serious life limiting conditions.

We’re here to help you live life well, offering support both individually and in a group setting. Our skilled staff aim to improve your quality of life by working with you, supporting you to make informed choices to address your individual concerns and enhance your own coping strategies.

Currently due to COVID-19 restrictions we’re running some groups online and small groups in person to maintain socially distancing.

What the Living Well service offers:

  • Chair Yoga: simple guided chair-based yoga
  • Mindful moments: an opportunity to learn ways to feel calmer and more in control of anxious feelings
  • Breathlessness Management Programme: 5-week course to help you manage the symptoms of breathlessness
  • Seated exercises: gentle chair-based exercises
  • Wellbeing Programme: 6-week course including how to keeping moving, managing common symptoms, nutrition and managing money
