About the role

St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care and community living well services.

Are you someone who is passionate about helping patients to be proactive in Living Well? We are looking for an enthusiastic person to provide excellent administrative support to our Living Well service and Therapy team. You will have excellent administrative skills, have a calm and measured approach to problems and be a good team player.

This role involves;

  • Being the initial point of contact for people contacting the Living Well Service and Therapy Team
  • Providing administrative support to the Living Well Service and Therapy team, including answering the telephone, making appointments for patients, taking minutes and booking meetings.
  • Supporting the Living Well drop in and other groups as required.
  • Ensuring the accurate input of patient data on SystmOne electronic patient record to record Living Well service referrals and activities accurately.
  • Line manage Living Well volunteers including interviews, completing regular reviews and recording volunteer hours.

Our sister hospice, Chestnut Tree House, is the children’s hospice for East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire, providing specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.
