Shop assistant volunteers

Join our retail team today, and make a big difference in your local community.

We have charity shops across the Worthing, Arun, Adur and Henfield areas. We are looking for volunteers to join our team!

What’s the role?

Sales and merchandise assistants:

If you are a savvy salesperson or have a passion for fashion, why not join our shop teams? A wide and varied range of roles are on offer to help run the shop including customer service, sorting and prepping donated stock, operating the till and visual merchandising. Full training given.

Collectibles, media and book experts:

Calling all bookworms, film fans, budding DJs and knowledgeable collectors! We need your expertise! Come and help us sort and value specialist items, collectibles, books and media. This role is available in both our shops and the retail distribution centre.

When will I volunteer?

All our shops have various roles available and flexible shift patterns to suit everyone!

Frequently asked questions

No previous experience needed!

All we ask for is a willingness to learn. You’ll also be provided with training on our retail standards and how to operate any equipment. Some heavy lifting may be required.

Some of the skills you’ll learn will be:

  • retail customer service
  • how to work on your own and as part of our team
  • insight into how a busy shop operates
