Warehouse assistants

Join our retail team today, and make a big difference in your local community.

We’re looking for volunteers to help at our Distribution Centre on Northbrook Road, Worthing. The warehouse is where we sort and distribute all donations of stock.

What’s the role?

Helping with a range of duties such as separating items by item type, checking their quality and picking stock out of storage for distribution to the shops.

When will I volunteer?

Weekdays for a minimum of two hours each session. And a commitment of weekly or on an infrequent basis

Frequently asked questions

No previous experience needed!

All we ask for is a willingness to learn. You’ll also be provided with training on our warehouse standards and how to operate any equipment. Some heavy lifting may be required.

Some of the skills you’ll learn will be:

  • how to work on your own and as part of our team
  • insight into how a busy warehouse operates
  • how to use a hand press appliance
